“Proudly Serving. Relentlessly United.”
Welcome to the official site of IAFF Local 4074, representing the professional firefighters of East Manatee County, Florida. We are a brotherhood forged in fire — committed to protecting our communities, supporting one another, and standing together in strength.
New Union Logo Voting
As Local 4074 moves forward into a new era, we’re embracing the opportunity to create a fresh identity that reflects who we are — our values, our pride, and the brotherhood and sisterhood that binds us together. This isn’t just about designing a logo; it’s about building a visual symbol that represents the strength, tradition, and future of our union and our members.
We’re asking all members to be part of this important process. Whether you have a fully sketched concept or just an idea in your head, we want to hear from you. Your input will help guide the creation of a new logo and identity that truly represents East Manatee Firefighters, Local 4074 — one that speaks to our commitment, our sacrifice, and our legacy.
This is your chance to leave your mark on the future of the union. Submit your ideas, sketches, or suggestions through the contact form below. Let’s create something that every member can wear with pride for years to come.
Because this isn’t just a logo — it’s who we are.
This design is a bold vision for the future of Local 4074’s identity, submitted by A-Shift Representative Sean Martin. The concept reflects a powerful balance between honoring the deep traditions of our union and embracing a modern, aggressive style that represents the strength and resilience of our membership.
Centered around the iconic IAFF emblem, the design is fully encircled in flames — a symbol of both the dangers we face and the unwavering dedication we bring to the job every day. The fire motif is not only a nod to our profession but also a representation of our unity, passion, and the brotherhood and sisterhood that fuels this organization.
If you have your own idea please go to our contact page and send your ideas or designs to that we can discuss it at our next regular meeting.
Station Identity Inititative
At Local 4074, we believe that fire service culture is built on pride, brotherhood, sisterhood, and a strong sense of identity. As we continue moving forward and strengthening our union, it’s clear that our individual stations play a pivotal role in shaping that identity.
This new initiative is about more than just logos — it’s about fostering a renewed sense of pride in where you work and the crew you call family. Station identity has always been a cornerstone of firehouse culture. Whether it’s the nickname, the legacy, or the unique character of the crew, it’s these elements that bring firefighters together and build the bonds that last a career.
Our goal is to encourage every station to embrace this culture shift — to develop a unique identity that reflects their history, their crew, and their mission. This is about creating something you’re proud to represent, whether it’s on a patch, a t-shirt, or a flag hanging in the bay.
This page features some concept designs created by A-Shift Representative Sean Martin, which showcase how bold, creative, and meaningful these identities can be. But this isn’t about one person’s vision — this is about your station, your crew, and your pride.
We’re calling on all members to get involved. Whether you have a fully formed design idea or just a concept, nickname, or piece of inspiration, we want to hear it. Let’s work together to create station identities that our members are proud to wear and that represent the firehouses we serve out of every day.
Because when our stations are stronger, our brotherhood and sisterhood are stronger.
