About IAFF Local 4074.

IAFF Local 4074 is the proud representative of the career firefighters serving East Manatee County, Florida. Our union was established to protect the rights, safety, and well-being of those who put themselves on the line every day.

We advocate for fair working conditions, fight for proper staffing and equipment, and support our members through everything from contract negotiations to mental health resources.

We also remain deeply committed to our local community — responding to calls, hosting charitable events (through EMFBA), and showing up when it matters most.

Our mission is simple.

To protect those who protect others.
